How To View PDFs
PDF (Portable Document Format)
All the documents created by me are in PDF “read only” format for security reasons. PDF documents cannot be altered without leaving a digital footprint and offer more protection than other formats. This means that they meet all legal requirements and is the preferred file format by most professional companies, businesses and government organisations.
Opening PDF Documents in Your Browser
If you would like to view a PDF document within your internet viewing program (browser), you may need to check that Adobe Flash Player is activated. In most cases the browser you use will be able to open the pdf without you doing anything. However, if you cannot view the PDF document within your browser then you can download Adobe Flash Player for free here. Once opened within your browser you will have the option to open, save or print.
Downloading and Opening PDF Documents
You can also download and save PDF documents locally on a device (i.e. on your home computer). Once the PDF document is on your device you will need a program to view or print it. To enable you to do this you can use Adobe Reader DC. This can be downloaded for free here
